Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable & Financial Reporting

About our client:

Our client is a dynamic and growing industrial company. GO RH has been mandated to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will take a lead role in supervising and executing the Accounts Payable process, collaborate closely with the treasury team on payments, actively participate in monthly and annual closings, and handle the preparation of VAT declarations.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in the financial management of the company. This position requires a skilled professional with expertise in Accounts Payable, treasury collaboration, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and actively participating in the monthly and annual closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Execution of Accounts Payable:
  • Oversee and execute the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to address inquiries and resolve issues.

• Treasury Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the treasury team to manage payment processes efficiently.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity requirements, providing insights for decision-making.

• Monthly & Annual Closings:
  • Actively participate in monthly closings, including reconciliations and preparation of audit files.
  • Contribute to the year-end closing process, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion.

• VAT Declarations:
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely VAT declarations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes in VAT regulations and communicate relevant information to the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Accounts Payable and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and experience in preparing VAT declarations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
