The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and troubleshooting within an industrial setting.

Job Summary:

As an Industrial Electrotechnician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in the industrial facility. The role involves working closely with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and contribute to the overall efficiency of our client’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical System Installation:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, components, and equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

• Equipment Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement preventive maintenance measures.

• PLC Programming:
  • Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to optimize control systems.

• Instrumentation and Control:
  • Install and calibrate instrumentation devices for measuring and controlling industrial processes.
  • Ensure proper integration of control systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards while performing electrical work.
  • Identify and rectify safety hazards related to electrical systems.

• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Update equipment manuals, schematics, and documentation as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or certification in Electrotechnology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrotechnician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
