The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client’s facilities.
Job Summary:
As a Facility Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our client’s facilities. The role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendors, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the overall functioning of our client’s industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance:
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities for the industrial facility.
- Schedule and supervise routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective facility services.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service contracts.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections.
- Space Planning and Utilization:
- Coordinate space planning activities to optimize facility layout and utilization.
- Manage office relocations and expansions as necessary.
- Utilities Management:
- Monitor and manage utility services, including electricity, water, and waste disposal.
- Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce operational costs.
- Emergency Response:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate drills and training to ensure a prepared and responsive team.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities and expenses.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a facility coordination or management role in the industrial sector.
- Knowledge of industrial facility systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
