Job Description:

As an Engineer in Advanced Product Development, you will be an integral part of the dynamic team responsible for pushing the boundaries of innovation in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, hands-on experience, and a passion for driving forward groundbreaking solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development:
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging technologies and materials relevant to advanced product development in the automotive sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into innovative product concepts.

• Prototype Development:
  • Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of advanced automotive components and systems.
  • Utilize advanced engineering tools and methodologies to optimize product performance.

• Material Science:
  • Apply expertise in chemistry to evaluate and select materials for enhanced product performance, durability, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source and qualify advanced materials for use in automotive applications.

• Project Management:
  • Manage and drive advanced product development projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of advanced technologies into products.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Mechanics or Chemistry; Ph.D. strongly preferred.
• Background in automotive product development.
• Proven experience in conducting advanced research and translating findings into tangible product developments.
• Strong knowledge of materials science and their applications in automotive engineering.
• Proficiency in utilizing engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
